Faith Academy Football History

Remembering our past and looking forward to our future.

Faith's football program started in 1971 in a year that saw them go 1-2 under coach Lloyd Skoda in the AISA. This was the beginning of something great. Over the past the past 45 seasons Faith has seen definite ups and downs, capturing state championships in 1976 and 1979. As well as winning regional championships in 2003, 2004, and 2006.

Faith Academy made the jump to AHSAA in 2008 going 5-5 in their first year. Faith has taken their lumps over the past few years including narrowly missing the playoffs by one game on multiple occasions. At Faith Academy state championships are not our soul purpose for our program, while winning is great, the coaching staff wants to prepare our young men to prosper for many years after football has ended for them. Since coming into AHSAA Faith Academy has sent 31 student athletes to play football at the next level, some of which include Chris Casher Florida State, Hayden McMahan Southern Miss, Malik Rosier Miami, and Tyler Bell Wake Forest. We at Faith Academy love our student athletes and want to do everything in our power to see them succeed.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
